Servicing & Repairs

We offer servicing for mobility scooters & powered wheelchairs. A service covers electrical and mechanical elements - batteries, tyres, tracking and many more components. Our on-site workshop offers repairs for scooters, powerchairs, beds and chairs. We can collect from you or you can drop your product in. For chairs and beds, we will visit your home and assess the repairs required. For more details, click here.

Delivery

We offer two delivery options at Comfort Homecare. We deliver larger items (chairs, beds, scooters etc.) for free up to 50 miles from Shefford with our in-house delivery team. Our delivery team is trained with our products, so will set the product up in your home and guide you through usage instructions free of charge. For all other items and further afield, we can arrange postage/courier service - cost subject to item weight and size.

After Sales

We pride ourselves on our after-sales service. Following the purchase of your item, we will assist you with any queries you have. Many of our products come with a warranty - with some items even having a 7-year warranty period!

VAT Exemption

Some items are VAT-exempt for those who have a chronic illness or disability. If you suffer from a disability we can offer some items at the VAT discounted rate. Please ensure you provide us with the necessary qualifying medical condition, your name and full address of the person the product is for.

Alternatively, if you are a charity please supply us with your Reg. Number.

There are severe penalties for making a false declaration. If you are in doubt about your own eligibility you should get advice from the National Advice Service for VAT before declaring.
